I was probably around nine or ten years old. After the substitute father left us, things went down hill. I didn’t really fit in at school, and though I had friends I always felt alone. Sometimes, when we went over our mother’s friend’s house, my older sister and the daughter would team up on me. Bully me. There were occasions where I would be attacked by one of them, or excluded or ignored by them. Sometimes, my sister would call me retarded, or taunt me, or say I was ugly.
